Buzztilt Targets Niche Categories For Bambooti’s Kickstarter Success

We worked with a fantastic team out of Belgium who were the brains behind Bambooti– a Beautiful Wooden Back for the Macbook. After previously designing a line of wooden sunglasses, Bambooti brought together their passion for design with their love for nature. Seeking to promote a healthier relationship between humankind and the Earth, the company introduced a premium line of wooden Macbook skins that were fully customizable by the user.

On the surface this campaign falls right in between the Tech and Design categories. But dig a bit deeper and you can see how we can target down even further to Apple enthusiasts and design / tech communities where this campaign would be best suited for.

The skins manage to marry old world craftsman ship and woodwork with cutting edge technology. After being laser cut, each skin is hand sanded to create an ultra smooth and luxe exterior. These were not your average Macbook skins, but rather beautiful pieces of art where users could display their personality with custom designs,and logos.

Bambooti, being a European based company, hired Buzztilt to help tell their story to a U.S. Audience. Here at Buzztilt our main focus is on U.S. Media Outlets. The majority of backers on crowdfunding, demographically speaking, are from the United States, both by numbers and dollars pledged. It is important for any campaign hoping to post serious numbers with a large campaign to tap into this audience. Our main focus is online, short lead press. Meaning that we shoot for online news media. Back to Bambooti’s Crowdfunding Campaign. Like we mentioned we needed to target this campaign down to a niche- Design, Apple News, and Tech. They created a beautiful product and now we could focus on the news media outlets in Belgium while we focused on U.S. Media Outlets.
